Postponement of ISC2020-Toyama

First of all, I would like to express my sincere sympathies to those who have got damages of the effect of COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

As you may have already noticed from the announcement of International Carotenoid Society (ICS), the ICS council has made a unanimous decision to postpone the ISC2020-Toyama to summer 2021. This is indeed difficult decision, since we have continued triennial meeting constantly from the beginning this international symposium. But when we think about the world-wide crisis situation caused by the pandemic of COVID-19, we cannot avoid this difficult decision.

Now the new dates of the Toyama International Carotenoid Symposium (ISC2021-Toayma) are
26 June (Saturday) to 1 July (Thursday), 2021.

We will be communicating specific information soon to those who have registered and planned to exhibit concerning the fees and finances for the conference. Our hope is that much of this can simply be kept in its current state and held for the 2021 date.

Especially, we do hope that sponsors of our meeting to keep finances to support the conference.

Finally, we do hope that the COVID-19 pandemic will be calmed down long before the ISC2021-Toyama. Everyone please continue to do what is needed to keep you and your family safe and healthy.
